steamboat dinner with bbtgang

It was yw's belated birthday makan gathering.
Steamboat dinner at my place.
First time having steamboat together.
First time preparing dinner at my place.
Mum prepared the soup, bought the raw meaties, and fried the crispy chicken thg and beansprouts.
We bought the others and prepared them for dinner.
We prepared too much food.
Besides the steamboat+teppanyaki, there was gingko barley dessert and fruit salad.

Mq suggested making gingko barley as it was yw's newfound love at ntu.
It was when we were about to make the dessert that we realised we did not buy pandan leaves.
And it was I who went to ask from one of my neighbours if I could cut from their plant. I almost wanted to kope without asking.. *heez*
